The Igbos of Nigerian exhibit certain unique practices that are traceable to the Old Testament. Certain of such unique practices include the sacrifice of burnt offerings, the use of wooden alters in such offerings, the spilling of animal blood during such offerings, the circumcision of a child two-native weeks after birth, high premium on the first son in the family and others. They are disliked by other ethnic groups around them . Further more, history shows that other Nigerian ethnic groups feel very uncomfortable with the Igbos as many races feel in association with Jews. Consequently the Igbos has been subject to pogroms in Nigeria as the Jews were subject to in Nazi Germany. Igbos like the Jews are known for hard work, innovation, love of fellow Igbos, respect for elders, daring and relentless fighting. They like the Jews are ubiquitous. Given these attributes, the Igbos is catalyst in Nigeria. Except for the Fulani, the Igbos is lighter in skin tone than any other ethnic group in the country. Given their insularity where does the light skin tone come from?

The Igbos were marked for extinction in Nigeria in 1967, the same year that the Arabs attacked Israel in the Middle East for extermination just because the rest of Nigeria felt that Biafra must not be allowed to exist. To them, it would be a second Israel in Africa. But are the Igbos the lost Tribe of Israel?
