Commodore Amadi Ikwechegh (Rtd) Former Governor of Old Imo State, Aguiyi of Igbere, who flew into Atlanta, GA, after successfully completing advanced program in National Security at Harvard University Boston MA USA. Former Governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, was represented by Chief Smart Ukoha.

Previously ...Ratified the Constitution of the Organization, Elected Engr. Michael Chijioke Kalu Awa and Executive, Set up Board of Directors to oversee the Organization, Resolved to hold Igbere Coventions henceforth in July to avoid conflict with World Igbo Congress dates.
